Parks Canada, Western Arctic, protects several sites in the Western Arctic in the Northwest Territories. All are co-managed through land claim organizations. Aulavik National Park, Tuktut Nogait National Park, and the Pingo Canadian Landmark are managed in cooperation with the Inuvialuit. Saoyú and AEehdacho National Historic Site is managed in cooperation with the Sahtu Dene and Métis land claim group. All sites are fly-in wilderness locations with no visitor facilities. Contact Parks Canada if you would like to visit or learn about a Western Arctic national park or site.
