If you and your group are seasoned paddlers of if you are just now starting to discover the joys of canoeing, we can help you get out there by outfitting you and your group with all you canoeing an camping gear needs, and we can even provide safe, reliable and comfortable shuttle service to your departure point and even pickup up at wherever you need to be picked up. All of our canoes are new 2020 CLIPPER Yukon model, 16’8″ in length. They are super light to help make those portages easier. Each canoe rental comes with the following:

  • Clipper Yukon 16’8″ canoe
  • 2 PFD’s each with whistle
  • 2 paddles
  • Throw bag
  • Bailer

Canoe rental rates:

  • 1 Day: $50.00+GST
  • 2 Day: $100.00+GST
  • 3 Day: $150.00+GST
  • Weekend: $100.00+GST (Friday – Sunday)
  • 1 week: $300.00+GST
  • 2 week: $500.00+GST

We are available for canoe drop off and pickup. Rates depend on drop off and pick up locations. Please email us for more information and current rates. We can drop off and pick up to the following locations:

  • Ingraham Trail
  • Frank Channel/North Arm
  • Fort Providence
  • Fort Simpson
  • Wrigley

We also have overnight canoe gear and camping gear available for rent and delivery. Please email to make a booking and current rates.

Sahtu Adventure Rentals

We can provide transportation up the Mackenzie River, Great Bear Lake, Great Bear River, Brackett River, Kelly Lake, and the Keele River to get on the water with these fun additions!

17′ Prospector Canoes

  • $75/day or $350/week
  • Includes 2 life jackets, 2 helmets, 3 paddles, throw bag, spray deck, ropes, and repair kit.

16′ Prospector Canoes

  • $65/day or $300/week
  • Includes 2 life jackets, 2 helmets, 3 paddles, throw bag, spray deck, ropes, and repair kit.

Paddle Board or Paddle Board/Kayak Combos

  • $50/day or $200/week
  • Includes paddle, life jacket, and helmet.

Shoal Tents

  • $75/day or $350/week
  • 4 people max, paddles, includes life jackets, ropes, throw bag, and repair kit.

If you rent from us, you’ll get high quality gear in great condition. To make things simple, all canoe rentals include a lifejacket, bailer, paddles, whistle and throw bag. All kayak rentals include lifejacket with whistle, paddle float, throw bag, spray skirt, bilge pump.

We offer 16’ and 17’ prospector canoes, as well as single and tandem fibreglass kayaks. Our boats are ideal for a day paddle to explore Yellowknife Bay, multi-day trip down the Ingraham Trail, or extended expedition deep into the Northwest Territories.
