Nonacho Lake Fishing Adventures is one of the longest standing Tourism Operators in the NWT of over 55 years. We are the only operators on Nonacho Lake, which is the 8th largest lake (800sq.km) in the NWT. Nonacho Lake is only accessible by float equiped aircraft, so don't expect to see any other boats on the lake except for ones in your party, just Nature as it was meant to be. Enjoy, incredible Lake Trout and Northern Pike World Class fishing that NWT has to offer. For photo lovers, the rarely seen majestic Muskox have now migrated and have found their home at Nonacho Lake and are often seen along the sand esker beaches & ridges. Over 50 different birds have been spotted on Nonacho Lake including Bald Eagles, osprey, loons, and tundra swans. See them all in a natural landscape seen by few humans.

By mid-August you'll be able to view the amazing Aurora Borealis at Nonacho Lake, the way they were meant to be seen, without any light saturation from nearby towns or cities.

Nonacho Lake is the 8th largest lake in the NWT covering an area of approx. 800sq.km. We are the only operators on the entire lake so don't expect to see any other boats except for those in your party, just nature as it was meant to be. Beautiful Nonacho Lake and its sand esker beaches are situated just south of the east arm of Great Slave Lake. Enjoy incredible Lake Trout and Northern Pike World Class fishing that NWT has to offer. Lake Trout between 20lb - 40lb are common with a lake record of 60lbs (near world record size). The lake abounds with Lake Trout in the 4 - 10 lb. range. Pike are abundant and provide wild action out of the shallows.

Cabins are furnished with fridge, stove/oven, cooking utensils, all bedding and linens, 24hr electricity.  The 6 guest cabins are set back from the sandy esker beach and can accommodate 4 - 8 guests.
