Dempster Highway Tour
Looking for a change in scenery? Join us for our one day road trip down the Dempster Highway. Starting in Inuvik an hour long drive takes us to breathtaking views of the Richardson Mountains, to the rolling hills of tundra, and to the small hidden lakes! Due to the open nature of the Arctic tundra, this tour will provide you with the best chance to see local birds and wildlife such as eagles, wolves, moose, caribou, grizzly bears and more! We'll also pass the beautiful and quaint community of T'siigehtchic and make two ferry crossings on our way to the famous Arctic Circle Monument. Tuktoyaktuk Delta River Cruise
Boat one way - fly the other way! Our exclusive boat and air tour takes you to the inuvialuit community of Tuktoyaktuk. We start by cruising up the East channel to the mouth of the Mackenzie River where it joins with the Arctic Ocean. We'll make a few stops along the way; including a traditional Inuvialuit whaling camp, where you will learn about the inuvialuit peoples ancient ways of lurring and curring the catch of the day!
While visiting the community of Tuktoyaktuk, a local guide will take you to points of interest on a 2 hour historical tour of the area. The trip back to Inuvik is a scenic flight over the region, scanning the expansive vista of the spectacular Mackenzie Delta. Visit the website for more information.
Hershel Island Boat Adventure (4 days)
DAY ONE: Travel five hours by boat on the East Arm of the Mackenzie River from Inuvik up to the Arctic Ocean where we will set up camp on shore for the night whilst enjoying the solitude of the land and beauty of the midnight sun. Listen to stories from your local guide while enjoying a camp fire and supper.
DAY TWO: After breaking camp we head out on the ocean for a three to five hour trip to Herschel Island, we'll watch for beluga and bowhead whales as well as seals, caribou, bears and muskox.
Once at the Island we'll set up camp and settle into our new 'home' for the next two days. This is a great time to enjoy the wood stove, sauna and brave a dip in the Arctic Ocean. Evening is a great time to enjoy your surroundings at a fire by the shore or taking an evening hike.
DAY THREE: Guided boat tour and hike around the island for a glimpse of the island's wildlife and migratory birds, as well as the unique and numerous species of rare wild flowers and plant life. Visit the small, eclectic museum maintained by Canada Parks and Services which demonstrates the history of the island, including recovered artifacts from the ongoing archeological digs.
DAY FOUR: Free time in the morning to relax, or wander freely taking in any sights you might have missed or last minute photos before we break camp, load the boat and hit the water back to Inuvik.

Taste The Arctic Tour
Enjoy our one hour tour of Inuvik, learn about our inuvialuit culture and the towns history from our local guides. Afterwards, join us for a Cultural Dinner.
