Boat Tour to Sandy Hills

If you are looking for an excursion that includes many different activities, like boating, hiking and fishing and set in the stunning Sandy Hills, then you've found it!
The Sandy Hills are located halfway between the communities of Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mackenzie River starting in Inuvik by these picturesque rolling hills and stop at a cliff for a picnic. You will hike up to the cliff and have the best view of the Sandy Hills, Mackenzie River, and surrounding landscape.
At the base of the cliff, you can try your hand at fishing (catch and release) in the Mackenzie River. Fishing rods and gear will be provided.
On this adventure, don't miss the wildlife that can be seen, such as caribou, birds, and beavers.
While you are taking in the stunning landscape, enjoy the storytelling from your guide.
We can accommodate a maximum of 5 guests and require a minimum of 3 guests.
