Boat the mighty Mackenzie River to the Arctic Ocean!!
This is an epic boat trip of over 1,800kms (almost 1,300 miles), during the trip you will get to experience firsthand the pristine, exotic and untouched wilderness of the Northwest Territories!
Visit 15 Indigenous communities as we boat the mighty Mackenzie across the Arctic Circle all the way to the Arctic Circle! Enjoy comfortable overnight stay in hotels and B&B's in 10 communities along the way as well as two nights camping. You will experience Indigenous Culture and Cultural Foods along your journey. We start in Hay River on the Great Slave Lake and end in Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic Ocean!
You will be visiting the following Indigenous communities: Hay River, Fort Providence, Jean Marie River, Fort Simpson, Wrigley, Tulita, Deline, Norman Wells, Fort Good Hope, Tsiigehtchic, Fort McPherson, Inuvik and Tuktoyuktuk.
First trip of the 2023 summer season departs Yellowknife June 16, with the last trip of the season departing August 11. Everything is provided, you just need to bring your friends, family or colleagues and your spirit of adventure!
