Canoeing, camping and genuine Indigenous culture on one of the longest rivers in the world, the Mackenzie River! A northern Canada canoe, culture and wilderness adventure!

On this tour you will canoe the “Dehcho” (Mackenzie River in our Dene language), and learn the history of Canada's longest river, visit Indigenous communities, see and enjoy the pristine beauty of the Dehcho region of the Northwest Territories and more!

So, if you and your friends are looking for a once in a lifetime paddling adventure on one of the longest rivers in the world, through the wilderness of northern Canada and want to experience genuine Indigenous culture at the same time, then our canoeing packages are for you!

What makes our canoe expeditions different from other canoe companies is we incorporate elements of our Indigenous culture on each day of the expedition! Also, we have a support boat that accompanies our canoe groups from start to end piloted by our Indigenous guides who all have a wealth of "on the land" experience and will be happy to share this knowledge with you. 

We offer 9 different canoeing, camping and culture 8-10 day & 14-16 day expeditions including 2 "Women's Only Expedition Retreats". Expeditions start at various communities such as Fort Providence, Fort Simpson, Wrigley and Tulita, and depending on which Expedition you choose end at different communities, the last community take out is Fort Good Hope. See our website more details on each of these Expeditions. Please make your booking 60 days before package start date. Book before December 31 and get your special discount price.
