BIG Trout, that’s our thing, so if you’re looking for trophy-sized lake trout this is it. Fly-out on a charter float plane over 200 miles North of Yellowknife to Point Lake, one of the largest rivers on the Coppermine River system. Typically ice free by the second week in July Point Lake offers the ideal environment to fish for trophy lake trout. It's a different game fishing for lake trout up here because the fish are found in shallow water all summer long, making them some of the most hardest fishing most aggressive fish you've been hooked into.
