Specialized Tours

Packages off the beaten track

Photography expeditions with a renowned photographer, fly-in hiking in the mountains or northern cooking tours are some of the options. We can take you out to see the wildlife, the waterfalls and the National Parks. Seaching out a perfect souvenir of your visit? Tour our craft shops. There are stunning examples of traditional art, moccasins, for example, or decorative mitts, fashioned from home-tanned moose hide and trimmed with fur. Or visit a shop where knitted fur fashion items are made, or traditional canvas tents are sewn. Diamond displays tell the story of the North's precious resource. Festivals offer an opportunity to meet noted Aboriginal craftspeople, painters and sculptors. Keep an eye out for locally produced items - teas, syrup, books, dried meat and fish, and perhaps, a nice frozen Arctic Char to share with friends back home.
