Glide Across Serene Flatwater or Run Heart-Pounding River Routes
Somewhere between surfboards and canoes, stand up paddleboards (SUPs) are becoming more and more common sight on the lakes and rivers of the Northwest Territories. They're an easy way to get out on the water whether you're going for a relaxing paddle around the houseboats of Yellowknife Bay, or you've loaded up a few dry bags with the necessary camping supplies for an overnight trip.
With seemingly endless lakes and rivers, not to mention all those daylight hours in the summertime, the Northwest Territories is the perfect place to try out this fast growing sport.
