Acho Dene Native Crafts

Acho Dene Native Crafts is a collective of over 40 cottage producers living in the community produce the products sold by the store. These products are made using a blend of ancestral techniques and themes with traditional and modern materials to make birch bark baskets, jewellery, moccasins, mittens, mukluks and other souvenirs.

Acho Dene Native Crafts offers a number of arts and crafts made out of traditionally smoked moose hide and birch bark. The hide is accented with beaded designs while the birch bark crafts have designs made out of porcupine quills. Products include: birch bark baskets with porcupine quills, birch bark bowls, moose hide moccasins, moose hide mukluks, traditionally beaded accessories, and much more!

Crafts from the Dene of the Fort Liard, Nahanni Butte, Fort Simpson and Trout Lake area in the western NWT. Gallery orders accepted.
