Be sure to experience Yellowknife’s newest Aurora-themed event: Naka!
Take in a special showcase of the Aurora as well as Dene culture in Yelloknife. The week-long event features:
- opportunities to learn how to photograph the Aurora,
- the science behind the Aurora
- Dene Astronomy
- Cultural demonstrations
Naka is pronounced Na-ke, and translates from Willideh as “Northern Lights”.
