Hearne Lake Lodge is a remote fly-in fishing lodge only 20-minute floatplane ride east of Yellowknife. To serve you better, we limit ourselves to eight guests at one time, open June to mid-September. We are fishing enthusiasts serving fishing enthusiasts and it shows.

Your all-inclusive fishing trip begins when you board the float plane in Yellowknife for a scenic 20-minute ride to the lodge. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of being the only people on the entire lake. Fish for trophy Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Arctic Grayling and Lake Whitefish. River and lake fishing from the same lodge. Traditional and flyfishing equipment supplied free of charge, if required. Introductory flyfishing lessons included for those wanting to experience the thrill of catching a fish on the fly. We are mainly self-guided with guests getting unlimited use of boat and motors. How to get to us: In the summer we are accessible by float plane only. In the winter guests can reach the lodge by ski plane, snowmobile or cross country skiing. During freeze-up and break-up, travel in by helicopter.
