A retired Canadian Armed Forces Infantry Captain, Jocelyn Démétré, now a professional guide will welcome you at hero Lodge with exceptional and personalized service. He has been traveling this body of water from top to bottom since 2011. like him, you will fall in love with the ninth largest lake in the world and the deepest in north America. 

Imagine leaving Yellowknife aboard a floatplane heading for places full of fish and northern scenery. You will have the chance to catch huge fish in the clear and deep waters of the East Arm, a combat worthy of beyond the 60th parallel. Sleep under the midnight sun inside a prospector's tent on one of the beautiful rocky islands of the lake, an experience for all outdoor enthusiasts.

In the summer, fishing time is maximized by 18 to 20 hours of sunshine per day and in winter you will experience the breathtaking northern lights.
