Departing Fort Simpson at approximately 9am, expect to be gone for about 5 hours.

First stop is Virginia Falls after following the first, second and third canyons up the South Nahanni River. At Virginia Falls we spend about 2 hours on the ground with a guided hike to either the top or bottom of the waterfall.

After jumping back in the floatplane, we fly over the spectacular Ram Plateau and Ram Canyon.

This leads us to Little Doctor Lake, nestled in the Nahanni Range where we spend about 40 minutes on one of its many sandy beaches.

From here it just a short hop to Fort Simpson landing back on the Mackenzie River.
