Norman Wells is a quint little community nestled along the Mackenzie River and surround by beautiful mountains. The Norman Wells Historical Centre – Museum has many artifacts from the Canol Heritage Trail and History of the Sahtu Region.

The Great Bear Gift Shop is in the Norman Wells Historical Centre; we carry many traditional crafts from Sahtu Regional artists along with gifts for any occasion.
