Our 12 day Nahanni raft expeditions take you through some of the most iconic features which this historic river is renowned for – including the wonders of Canada’s deepest canyons and Nailicho / Virginia Falls – twice the height of Niagara!

Our 12 day trips follow the same itinerary as our 7 day trips, but have additional time built in for hiking, exploration, hot springs bathing, photography or simply soaking up the magnificent landscapes.

For active adventurers, this is the ideal river trip! Hiking opportunities include exploring the canyon rims (up to 1,500 metres high!), the Gate and Sunblood Mountain (1,600 metres elevation) which grants you panoramic views over the dramatic Ragged Range and South Nahanni watershed.

There is also the option to rent your own inflatable kayak / packraft for those who want to experience the river on their own terms.
