Dene Fur Clouds Ltd.

Dene Fur Clouds Ltd. is a small knit-fur manufacturing company situated in Fort Providence NT, located at the south western tip of the Great Slave Lake, with a population of approximately 700.

Today, Dene Fur Clouds Ltd. of Fort Providence follows in the footsteps of its ancestors. Here a group of highly skilled group of Dene take their inspiration from the ceremonies and traditions of the past in the designing and making a unique line of hand knit fur garments and accessories. The manufacturer has drawn upon the knowledge of the ancient Dene tradition of fur weaving, and updated the process to create fur yarn and garments using beaver fur and modern techniques and produces a line of luxurious knit beaver-fur products.
