For over 30 years, Canoe North Adventures has made it our mission to create spectacular memories for life, and to show the world the beauty and splendor Northern Canada has to offer by canoe.

We are proud to have grown Canoe North Adventures into one of the premier canoeing and rafting expedition companies in the NWT, Nunavut and Yukon; while still keeping our family business roots a core part of our company. Our hand picked team of professional, certified and friendly guides and staff are some of the best in the business. World class rivers we paddle, such as the fabled Nahanni, Keele and Horton, are diverse in their nature flowing through towering mountains, deep canyons, or the tundra of the far north. Whatever the topography, they are all special and unique experiences that will make your jaw drop. 

For expeditions departing from Norman Wells, NWT, we welcome you to enjoy the comfort of the Canoe North Adventures B&B and Outfitting Centre. Located 15 minutes out of town and steps from the floatplane base our timberframe lodge provides full service meals and comfortable beds making it an ideal launching pad for your northern adventures and a great place to reflect and celebrate with your group once you have returned. 
 
A guided expedition with us
 will allow you time to unwind while immersing yourself in the wilderness; without having to sweat the small stuff. Our five-star menu and top quality provided gear make life easy in camp. On the water our certified guide staff are old pros at instruction and will help you progress your paddling skills all the while keeping a watchful eye that everyone is safe and having fun! 10-14 Day Canoeing and Rafting Expeditions

Canoe North Adventures offers exceptional wilderness experiences on the rivers of the NWT, Nunavut and Yukon. Our personal approach focusing on skill development and group dynamics makes a wilderness journey all that more achievable and fun!  Our groups are filled with like minded adventurous souls, and our guides are certified industry professionals with years of experience under their belts. Your Safety and comfort are #1 for us. 

Northern Canada may be the best paddler's paradise in the world. There is something for everyone here, from the complete beginner to a master paddler. whatever your skill level or whatever kind of trip you are looking for we are sure we can accommodate you on one of our expeditions. 

Rivers we paddle on include the Nahanni, Broken Skull, Silverberry Redstone, Natla, Keele, Snake, Mountain, Horton, Great Bear, Coppermine, Yukon and Pelly Rivers.

We also offer rafting on the Nahanni, Keele, Silverberry and Mountain Rivers. Rafting is a more relaxing way to experience the wilderness, and anyone over the age of 14 is welcome to join a trip!  

Our trips are usually 12 days in length, with 10 guests and 2 guides. Pricing varies between rivers, so contact us for more information or check our website!
